Digital X-Rays: (radiographs – digital images)

Dr. Majcher utilizes Digital Imaging Technologies within the office.

Dr. Majcher chooses carefully which and when radiographs are taken. There are many guidelines that we follow. Radiographs allow us to see everything we cannot see with our own eyes. Radiographs enable us to detect cavities in between your teeth, determine bone levels, and analyze the health of your bone. We can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, as well as assess damage when trauma occurs.

Digital imaging allows us to store patient images, and enables us to quickly and easily transfer them to specialists or insurance companies.

Intraoral Camera

Dr. Majcher utilizes intraoral camera technology that helps enhance your understanding of your diagnosis. An intraoral camera is a very small camera that is placed inside the mouth. An intraoral camera allows both you, the patient and us to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums, in order for us to accurately make a diagnosis. With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations!

Intraoral cameras also enable our practice to save your images in our office computer to provide a permanent record of treatments. These images can be printed for you, other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.

DIAGNOdent
Locating the hidden decay before the tooth structure begins to be destroyed is very important in our practice. Diagnosing a cavity beneath the hard surfaces of the teeth is a challenge because the decay can began internally through microscopic openings in the enamel. The decay will then spread easily into the softer, internal portion of the tooth.

X-rays and feeling the teeth with the dental explorer have their limits in detecting hidden decay, especially in the early stages of the cavity. We use the DIAGNOdent to monitor the areas below the enamel. Dr. Majcher or the hygienist will simply glide the pen-like probe over all the teeth. A number scale with an alarm signal will indicate the signs of the hidden decay. The DIAGNOdent is completely safe and pain free for adults and children of any age. It is important to locate the hidden decay in order to stop the disease before a tooth is destroyed from within.

Telescopic Optics

Our practice uses Telescoptic Optics to enhance the precision of patient care.

Dentistry is micro-surgery. Using telescopic optics enables us to create dental restorations with incredibly precise fit and finish. You just can’t fulfill that level of care with the naked eye.

In addition to allowing precise, close-up work, the telescopic optics directs a beam of light directly on the teeth, minimizing glare for you.

DentalPure Water System and Dental Pure (Compressed) Air Systems
Making sure that we provide pure water and pure compressed air for our patients is important to us and we have achieved reaching a record-setting level. A company,Dental Pure Water Incorporated has been able to take water quality for dental patients to unprecedented levels of purification ~~99.999999% pure! Dr. Majcher uses Dental Pure Water’s distillation (high heat) water purification system in his office. All water used in our office is 99.999999% pure and securely protected to stay that way with an entire office system of anti-backflow valves that eliminate any cross-contamination. Amongst other areas, this system includes all water delivered to patients at the dental chairs and eliminates the need for any chemical disinfectants to be placed into the water used for dental treatment.

Even the compressed air delivered to patients is purified to 99.999999% before it is used during dental treatment procedures. Dirt, oil, bacteria, and mercury vapors are eliminated using the FDA cleared Dental Pure Air System.
